On Saturday evening Members from Honey Brook gathered for their Appreciation Banquet at the French Creek Golf Club in Elverson. Honey Brook members were joined by several local municipality representatives and mutual aid department Chiefs. Past Chief John Goodman and Life Member Lew Gable were also in attendance and were thanked for joining the department as well as all they did in the past for our community.
The evening began with a social hour followed by dinner and dessert. After desert, Chief Klinger introduced Chief Scott Murphy from the Siler City Fire Dept. in N.C. Chief Murphy gave a brief speech to the members and then showed some of the items he had from when he was a member with Honey Brook and some of stories of running at the firehouse.
Chief Klinger then presented several awards after saying a few words. Member were recognized for:
Chief Messner was presented his Past Chief's Badge and a plague thanking him for his 5 years of service as Chief.

Members were also presented with a gold plate license plate with their rank as an appreciation for their hard work and dedication.
After the awards were handed out members gathered and socialized for a few hours dancing, listening to music and enjoying spending time with each other.
