1968 International 4X4 Brush Truck
250 gallon per minute pump, 200 gallon water tank
Chassis was bought new by the fire company. Bell Telephone donated the the body. All construction work was done by members of the fire company. Placed into service, unpainted, on January 11, 1969.
Replaced by the 2000 Ford/ Moore, it was sold in early 2002 to an antique dealer in Berks County who wanted to restore it. He never did and sold it to a Bensalem police officer in February 2006 (same gentleman who bought the 1983 traffic unit), whom in turn offered it for sale on Ebay.
The truck was purchased off of Ebay in March 2006 by a firefighter from Bullhead City, Arizona. The firefighter now works for the Los Angeles County Fire Departiment in California, and plans on restoring the truck once time permits.
