1920's Cadillac/1930 Ford
Purchased used in West Chester, where it served as a "Dead Wagon". It was reported to have been an ambulance; for it was thought that no one would ride in it if it were told that it had originally been a "Dead Wagon".
Placed into service as a squad truck on June 4, 1926. In 1930, the rear body was remounted onto a 1930 Ford Chassis, and the Cadillac chassis was disposed of. It was sold in 1945 to Mr. Edward Hertzog of Swedeland.
The "Dead Wagon" was commemorated on the trunk lid of our former Chevy Caprice command car...
