Working Fire in Honey Brook Township
By HBFC
December 19, 2024
At 12:25 on Thursday afternoon, the Honey Brook Fire Company along with automatic aid were dispatched the 100 block of North Birdell Road for a reported mobile home. Assistant 33 arrived and confirmed a camper along with a mobile home-type structure well involved with extension into the nearby barn, and requested the working fire dispatch.
Engine 33-5 assumed the first due engine laying 700’ of LDH to the scene. The crew from 33-5 stretched two lines, attacking the fire and protecting the interior of the exposure. The remaining incoming crews assisted with fire suppression, overhaul, and various other fireground tasks. The fire was placed under control at 12:50 with extensive overhaul, Assistant 33 held the North Birdell Command.
We'd like to thank our mutual aid for their assistance, as well as Lancaster Tanker 34 for covering our local while we operated at this fire.
