The active crew stayed busy on Monday, handling three calls for service as well as our weekly training at an acquired structure. At 10:30 in the morning, Engine 33-5 covered the DFD while units from Alert #1 and Minquas operated at a working house fire in West Bradford Township.

Later that afternoon, 33 units handled a CO incident on the 400 block of North Birdell Rd, in Honey Brook Township. At 1900 hours, roughly 20 members traveled to an acquired structure on Park Rd for our weekly drill night. The focus of this week's training centered on the operations of the first due engine and first due special. Crews ran live "run-in" evolutions for most of the evening before finishing up with some forcible entry and overhaul work.

At 22:31 hours, Chief 33, Assistant 33, and Rescue 33 responded with Ambulance-1891 and Micu-193 to the 4000 block of Horseshoe Pike in Honey Brook Borough for a Rescue. Units found one subject on the ground, with their hand lodged inside the emergency brake gear mechanism of a vehicle. Crews assessed, strategized, and executed a successful rescue by freeing the subject's hand from inside the vehicle. We'd like to thank the EMS crews on-scene for their assistance with this incident.
