Dwelling Fire In Caernarvon Berks

At 16:23 hours the Honey Brook Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Twin Valley Fire Department on a working house fire with entrapment in the Pennwood section of Caernarvon Township Berks County. Twin Valley was originally dispatched for an automatic fire alarm and upon arrival upgraded the assignment to a dwelling fire with entrapment bringing Honey Brook, Caernarvon, and Elverson EMS to assist. Engine 33-5, Engine 33-1, Rescue 33, and Ambulance 33-3 responded with 20 personnel.
Twin Valley firefighters made a quick rescue of one victim who was immediately turned over to EMS personnel.
33 personnel assisted with throwing ladders, overhaul, and firefighter rehab before being tasked with standing by for the Twin Valley and Honey Brook area from the scene.
The last 33 units cleared the scene at 18:11 hours.
The Honey Brook Fire Company offers its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
