HBFC attends the annual Coatesville Christmas Parade

Saturday December 7th Honey Brook members took part in the annual Coatesville Christmas Parade. Honorably showcasing the company’s Command vehicle, Rescue 33 and Engine 33-5 while Traffic 33 and 33 Fire Police assisted with the details operation. The Coatesville Christmas Parade has been held since the 1950s. The parade is Chester County's largest hometown parade and is held on the historic Lincoln Highway. It features a variety of entries, including: Mummers Bands School Marching Bands & Sports Teams Children's dance academies Tow trucks, police cars, and fire trucks Custom-crafted floats The Philadelphia Phillies' Phanatic and most importantly this time of year, Santa Claus! The 2024 parade's theme was "Winter Holidays Around the World". While taking the morning off to bring joy, a crew stood by back in the local with Engine 33-1 providing coverage for emergency response. No calls of service were needed during this time.
