2025 HBFC Reorganizational Meeting

On Friday, January 3rd the Honey Brook Fire Company held its annual reorganizational meeting, where all operations, administration, and fire police officers were sworn in by Magisterial District Judge Tim Arndt. President Mike Hartz presented appreciation awards to Honey Brook Borough & Honey Brook Township for their continuous support of the HBFC, as well as the following local businesses for their generosity in 2024:

Turkey Hill (Honey Brook)
Turkey Hill (Compass)
Twin Valley Coffee
Jerry's Pizza Pie
Little Anthony's
September Farm
McDonald's (Morgantown)
Wawa (Morgantown)
Papa Mark's

To close out the evening, outgoing Fire Chief Steven Kern and incoming Fire Chief Gary Ream presented the following awards:

Fire Fighter of the Year: John Henry Zook
JR Fire Fighter of the Year: Ivan Lee King
Years of Service: Chris Ott - 35 Years
Chiefs Award: Mike Hartz
Les Baxter Award: Brian Linsinbigler
Presidents Award: Marlana Oster, Ike Fisher, Don Kline, Matt York, Dave Herb

Finally incoming Fire Chief Gary Ream along with the entire active crew presented outgoing Chief Steven Kern with a commemorative axe in appreciation and recognition of his four selfless and determined years as Fire Chief of the Honey Brook Fire Company #1.
