By HBFC
May 18, 2026
At 09:36 this morning, Firebox 3304 was transmitted for the 010 BLK of Hill Road in Honey Brook Township for a fire reported in a bedroom of a private dwelling. Deputy 33 arrived and reported light smoke from a single story SFD, and established the Hill Road command. E331 W/6 responded less than two minutes from dispatch, arrived as the first due engine, forward laying from the intersection of Hill Road and South Birdell Road, and stretched one 1.75" crosslay to the front door. E331 encountered a smoke condition throughout following a small fire in the front bedroom, which had been mostly extinguished by the homeowner. Crews opened up, checked for extension, conducted overhaul, and ventilated. The fire was placed under control at 09:47 and the assignment was held to 33 units only. This fire is currently under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshall's Office. Honey Brook personnel operated for roughly two hours before clearing the scene.
