Ladder Runs Working Fire in Coatesville City
By HBFC
July 29, 2026
Just after 8:00pm on Tuesday evening, CFD units and mutual aid were dispatched the 600 BLK of E. Lincoln Highway, in Coatesville City for a reported dwelling fire. First arriving units found heavy fire conditions from a 3-story duplex, and struck the working fire dispatch. Honey Brook units had just returned to quarters following an investigation in the Township, when Ladder 33 was dispatched to relocate the Washington Hose Co (41). Shortly after making the response, Command requested Ladder 33 be redirected to the scene. On arrival, Ladder 33 positioned on the (B) side of the residence and placed the main to the roof. Crews assisted with opening up, overhaul, and salvage operations throughout the incident. This was the first "official" fire for the truck since being placed in-service a little over one week ago.
