Unusually busy day for Honey Brook Fire Company. 4/20/21
Five calls were logged yesterday.

Call 1—7:27 hrs dispatched to Kemper Equipment at 5051 Horseshoe Pike (Honey Brook Twp) for an elevator malfunction with one person stuck. Rescue 33 responded with a crew of 8. EMS 89 assisted.

Call 2–8:23 hrs- Engine/ Tanker
33-5 ( crew of 6)dispatched to Valley Township Station 44 - Westwood to cover standby duty for 44 & 31 (Sadsburyville) while they work a house fire in the 50 block of Winged Foot Drive-(Valley Twp)

Call 3–8:32 hrs- Dispatched to assist Lanco 49 (White Horse) on a house fire at 590 Rosehill Drive (Salisbury Twp) Engine 33-1 and Rescue 33 responded along with Chief 33 & Deputy 33 for a total crew of 16. Units were recalled before arrival.

Call 4–12:06 hrs- Dispatched to 2110 Twin County Road (Honey Brook Twp) for a commercial building fire at Tri County Coatings.

Honey Brook Chief33 (Kern), Deputy 33 (Ream) Engine 33-1 , 33-5, and Rescue 33 responded.
Also included in the response were Lancaster County Engine 34 & Tanker 34, Engine 30-1, 30-2, & Tanker 30.
Chesco Ladder 69 (Twin Valley) and Ladder 49 (East Brandywine) for RIT rounded out the dispatch.
Arriving units found an outside dust collector on fire and scaled back the response.

Call 5– 15:46 hrs dispatched to an AFA(automatic fire alarm) at 1200 Tel Hai Circle in the Tel Hai Retirement Community (Honey Brook Twp). Engine 33-1 responded with a crew of 6. Quickly cleared an incident in the kitchen smoke detector.
