Honey Brook Township Working Building Fire
By HBFC
November 9, 2022
Yesterday at 1840 hours the Honey Brook Fire Company along with mutual aid was alerted to the unit block of Westbrooke Drive in Honey Brook Township for a building fire. Deputy 33 was first arriving and reported fire showing from the roof and requested the working fire dispatch. Engine 33-1 arrived and laid a 5” supply line from the fire hydrant on Westbrooke Drive. Crews deployed multiple hand lines off Engine 33-1 to attack the fire. Lancaster Truck 39 set up for access to the roof. Units on location made quick work of the fire. Fortunately there were no injuries. Honey Brook and the mutual aid companies operated for approximately 2 hours. We would like to thank Lancaster Tanker 52 (Christiana) for providing standby coverage at our station while we worked this fire.
