Weekly Training Continues at HBFC
By HBFC
March 26, 2024
Weekly training continued on Monday evening, this time at the Chester County Public Safety Training Center. Ten members participated in the "Pressurized Water Can Firefighting" course, which focused on utilization of the 2.5 gallon water can. Simultaneously, back at Station 33, members trained on hydrant operations and hose line deployment.
Shortly after returning to the station, Chief 33, Engines 33-1, 33-5, and Rescue 33 responded to the 200 block of Rock Rd. in Honey Brook Township for a reported gas leak. Crews secured utilities, metered the structure and ventilated before clearing the scene.
