HBFC Training - Water Rescue & Boat Operations
By HBFC
April 23, 2024
Last night, Honey Brook members took advantage of the nice weather and traveled to Struble Lake for our weekly training. The Water Rescue Team worked on boat deployment, operations, rescues, and rigging. Shore-based personnel focused on assisting with boat deployment, shore-based rescues, and boat docking. The Honey Brook Fire Company operates (2) inflatable boats, along with 15 technician-level rescuers, and a full complement of tools and equipment, providing water rescue services to Honey Brook Borough, Honey Brook Township, and surrounding areas.
As always, we'd like to thank the Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission for their assistance with coordinating these trainings.
