Working Fire In Company 69's Local
By HBFC
April 26, 2024
At 05:18 this morning, Station 33 was alerted to assist Station 69 (TVFD) for a reported dwelling fire on the 100 block of Lexington Way, In Caernarvon Township. First arriving units from 69 had heavy fire showing from division two, on the (C) and (D) sides of a multi-family dwelling. Chief 69 requested the working fire dispatch and established the Lexington Way Command. Rescue 33 arrived and established RIT on the (D) side of the structure, initially splitting its crew to ladder the structure. Engine 33-5 arrived and supplied Lancaster Tanker 34, while its crew supplemented the RIT assignment. 33 crews assisted with overhaul of the residence as well.
Quick work by the first arriving crews prevented this fire from spreading to the other units in the dwelling. Honey Brook units were in service for two hours before clearing the scene. We'd like to thank Garden Spot Fire Rescue for covering our local while we operated at this fire.
This is the 12th working fire this year for the Honey Brook Volunteers.
