HBFC Weekly Training - Acquired Structure
By HBFC
May 14, 2024
For our weekly drill night, the Honey Brook Fire Company had the luxury of utilizing an acquired structure in the local to sharpen our skills. Crews worked on vertical ventilation, primary searches, handline management, and rescues while exterior personnel focused on fire ground support roles. Crews rotated through three different skill stations before coming together and running live evolutions to finish the evening.
We'd like to thank the property owner, who is preparing the structure for demolition, for graciously allowing us to conduct this training. If you live in Honey Brook Borough, or Honey Brook Township and plan to tear down an existing structure on your property, please consider contacting the HBFC. Every year, we benefit from real world training through the utilization of acquired structures such as this.
33 units responded to one emergency call during this training.
